Problems using Yuuguu VOIP

This service is in open Beta phase - so please bear with us as we gather feedback and continually improve this feature

I can't hear the other person / they can't hear me


Try the following solutions:

  • Check that you both have the volume turned up on your speakers.
  • Your headset or computer mic/speakers may not being picked up by Yuuguu. Click on settings (top right of the Yuuguu client) and select the Audio tab. Try selecting from the devices listed there to see if Yuuguu now recognises your mic and speakers.

The call quality is poor or people get disconnected


Try the following solutions:

  • Are any of the participants downloading or uploading something large to the internet - this can slow down their connection and affect call quality.
  • Ask the person with a poor line to hang up and re-dial in again.

If the problem is not solved by these actions, send an email to support (at) yuuguu.com with the following details:

  • The time and date of the call
  • The fact that you were using VOIP
  • The other people on the call with you
  • A description of the issue
