Advanced Settings

To access Advanced Settings within Yuuguu, click on the 'Settings' link at the top of your contacts window and choose the 'Advanced' tab.

Run on startup shows whether Yuuguu will run when your computer is first started. Yuuguu needs to be running so that you can receive chat messages and screen share requests from your colleagues.
Start minimised When Yuuguu is run when your computer starts, it will not display your contacts window. You'll get an icon in the notification area (bottom right of the screen in Windows or in the menu bar on the Mac) to show it is running. If you want to see your contact window when Yuuguu starts, de-select this.
Login automatically If selected, Yuuguu will try and log you in when it starts.
Fastest screen-sharing If this is not selected then screen shares will always show your screen in full colour. This is useful if you want to show pictures or artwork, but screen updates will be slower.
Sound shows whether Yuuguu will play an alert sound on receiving a new message.
Emoticons When this is selected and you type things like :-) in a chat message, Yuuguu will display a smiley face picture in the chat view.
